The Constitution is OUR Guiding Light

Capitalism is based on Greed.  Social Safety Nets are Based on Sharing.  We are the wealthiest nation on earth. 

We believe in the Constitution and that all people deserve life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness, which includes caring for the less fortunate. 

Our social safety nets are part of what makes America Great. 

Yet republicans and the wealthiest among us are trying to eliminate the social safety nets that help feed and house We The People.  They want to grab the nation’s money for their own profit. 

Social safety nets are what give people a second chance when things get tough.  Social safety nets help prevent crime and keep people in safe housing and off the streets.  Social safety nets provide our hungry kids with breakfast before school.  People work hard for their families and themselves to better their lives and the lives of their loved ones.  People need help during troubling times and our social safety nets are there to help.  Tell congress that the wealthy have enough money and to stop dismantling our social safety nets.
