Michigan election on May 3, 2022: Voter guide to what's on the ballot in 64 counties

Updated: Oct 3, 2022

Communities across Michigan will hold elections on May 3. Up for a vote are municipal offices, local millages and four state House races to fill partial terms for vacant seats.

The special House elections include the 15th District in Wayne County, the 36th District in Macomb County, the 43rd District in Oakland County and the 74th District in Kent County.

Those elected at the May election will be in office until December 31, 2022. State House primary elections will be held in August and a general election will be held in November to select state House lawmakers to serve two-year terms in the new districts drawn by an independent redistricting commission.
